and of course this happens right after DX Complex's web host went out of business. we don't have our forum anymore whose primary purpose was as a failover in case Discord went down because I couldn't convince anyone to primarily use it. i can and should go spin up an IRC server but what's the point? am i gonna have to choose between keeping in touch with 99% of my friends or avoiding yet another toxic waste dump of a platform? i feel silly getting upset over a chat platform but this is all so exhausting
