Baby boomer, interested in Linux, Postgresql, Oracle.
@jonossaseuraava if you have rsynch installed, you might be able to save most of your files. Also booting from a usb and trying afio with compression might save copies of most of your files
@annifa Maybe Lenovo have just decimated their customer base?
@brook ok, makes sense, I don't use any synch.
@brook I use proton drive via the browser on linux
@fetopa @phragment are you able to use bash rather than sh?
I'm wondering if sh is in fact a link to bash - possibly broken

What I am thinking is that sh is not in the /bin directory. Also check your PATH environment to make sure you can find sh, wherever it is
@fetopa @phragment where is sh? Is it in the PATH ?
@fetopa look at permissions - is the command executable & maybe try setting to run in a terminal
@arichtman I found Lenovo pretty good. I have used HP before but the Lenovo took Kbuntu with no problems
