me, after spending weeks writing a content plan for a big announcement only for it to be scrapped just before it goes live…
i've been growing accounts on twitter for ~15 years and no matter the algorithm changes, growing always comes down to these X things:
- having a niche to start with that actually has an audience on the platform.
- producing good fucking content that's actually worth reading.
- being social and interacting with others
- posting consistenly (think months to years, not days or weeks)
founders: we want a social media manager who's terminally online.
also founders: only pays part-time wages.
companies will hire social media managers to be chronically online only to make them chronically sit in meetings all day.
people don’t want features, they want solutions.
so stop marketing the damn features.
me, trying to complete basic tasks when claude goes down...
