Techie, entrepreneur, and non MAGA Republican who thinks Biden has brought back sanity, and is doing a good job. I'm a Republican because I believe in the ideas, and in spite of the current horrible and dishonest GOP leadership.

If you call yourself a Republican and think your job is to hate Democrats, you are not only an actual RINO (Republican In Name Only) - you hate half of Americans and that puts your belief system squarely aligned with enemies of the United States.

There's a Fediverse alternative to #Reddit called #Kbin. More info at https://kbin.pub

Still VERY new, not many servers yet, two so far in English:

No app yet, use it through these sites. Subreddits are called "Magazines". You can interact with magazines from other servers.

Coders help Kbin at https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core, non-coders donate at https://www.buymeacoffee.com/kbin

(Sorry to people bored of this, had many requests to put info in one place)

Why did #Trump take and hide secrets?

Here is an interesting (extremely well written) take..

"Trump’s hoarding of official secrets is both breathtakingly careless and utterly calculated."

Good points but a corrupt or even inexperienced judge has no place in this trial, it's bad for America.

I disagree that timing doesn't matter. It's the difference between a guilty verdict and a shut down trial if he is elected. Which is bad for America. At least some accountability is better than obvious corruption at the Presidential level.

Hey GOP: find someone not so horrible.

Wonder why top Republicans bend over backwards to cover for Trump doing horrible things they would never accept from anyone else?

It's not that they fear the base, although they do.

It's that Trump threatens to start his own party if they don't support him.

And they are too weak to deal with that.

So he actually is an amazing deal maker after all.

Just not someone you should trust to make decisions regarding your welfare.

With the reaction to the #indictment it has become urgently clear that we need 2 strong and principled parties.

The biggest problem in America can only be fixed by a Republican, because it has to be fixed from the inside.

A strong Republican party with quality leadership wouldn't have to pretend they were OK with someone "taking, keeping, and lying about keeping nuclear secrets" just to cover for one of the worst things it has done (is still doing)
