I live in "war ravaged" Portland, Oregon (well technically a suburb thereof) and I'm an obsessive gardener. If it's and outdoor green plan I have probably either grown it or want to. I post plant pictures (with alt text) over on Instagram under Passionatepropagator. And yes that was a bad name choice. I also enjoy reading, sewing, knitting and swimming (old, fat and slow master's swimmer) and hating on Trump and his evil minions.

@smurthys It's absolutely a campanula, I just can't tell you which one.
@mikemccaffrey I hope he wins a nice chunk of money. I think we have a bad cop here and he needs to be gotten rid of.
I missed this foxglove yesterday. It's a volunteer hybrid of Digitalis lutea and Digitalis purpurea. #BloomScrolling
@alexskunz Too bad it's hard to grow otherwise I'd be growing it.
@goldfishlaser Uh, that's not borage. That plant is something in the nightshade family and could be poisonous. DO NOT MAKE TEA WITH IT UNLESS YOU CAN POSITIVELY IDENTIFY THIS PLANT. Look up pictures of borage and you'll quickly see that this is not a borage.
@Zongora Has it been long lived for you? I haven't seen it in nurseries for years. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one.
I love my multicolored foxgloves. I particularly enamored of the pure white one. I just let them seed around and rip out the unwanted ones. Also after they're done blooming I rip out the darker purple ones because otherwise they'll predominate. #Digitalis #BloomScrolling
