One of those rare days where the wind was in the perfect direction for the entire sail. We started deep downwind with a full Genoa and main, then switched to main + asym spinnaker for broad-beam reaching, & concluded the passage with main+staysail+genoa in close reach. 😍😍😍 #sailing #sailboats #sails
Today was #boatProject day! In which I figure out how to patch our canvas enclosure to extend it's life (and our wallet).
In addition to replacing some tired Velcro, I made some extensions to snap the canvas onto the cockpit. The old snaps didn't reach after the last clear replacement, and the back panels flop all over the place. Flop no more! My extensions work!

🤔This gunk might be why our galley sink drain was draining so slowly. It stinks worse than it looks🤮
And my glorious husband, who has agreed to do the dirty jobs on the boat, took a shot of it to his face🤮🤮🤮 he's the real hero today. I cleaned up while he cleaned himself up.
Learning all kinds of new info about boat paint, especially two-part LPU paint! Got the 2nd coat of primer onto the boot stripe today (photo shows 1 coat from yesterday). Tomorrow is sanding and first coat of Flag Blue (a dark blue)! Hoping I get it right, but also okay if I fuck it up. #boatprojects #boatwork #boatlife
