the biggest problem with programming in C, Java or Rust is the risk of wearing out the keyboard, due to them all being strongly-typed languages

I'm reading a book of classical poems by Arab women, and found this gem from some 1000 years ago:

"Leave me alone, you’re not my equal, you’re not a man of the world nor a man of faith, yet you want to own me, you mindless twit."

(by Umm Ja'far bint Ali)

That's it. That's the whole poem.

@bammerlaan also, my favorite crocheter on YouTube is TL Yarncrafts. I recommend setting the playback speed to <1.0 on any video so you can see the movement in slow-motion.

@bammerlaan I learned with the woobles content, and it was really helpful in teaching what holes were what. Take your time, and loosen up your grip a bit. And here’s a video https://youtu.be/uzxlPvEtONs?si=P3Xv7wpsJ6Ty7oQ5

I’ve spent a lot of this weekend constructing this “Happypotamus”. Pattern from Heidi Bears. Ran into a little problem when I discovered I’d accidentally used a hexagon instead of a pentagon at one point, so had to fudge the last piece. #Crochet
@MSayana omg I love this so much! Happypotamus😂🥰🦛
@yngmar looks like art to me!😂
@farah I’m jealous of your pink dragon gloves😆
@venite I haven’t heard of that for yarn! Or painting now that I think of it (I’m self taught). #proTip! Tyvm!
