A bunch of these signs have gone up around my neighborhood this week. #GreenfieldMA

The former Greenfield Public Library building is getting a new coat of paint!
The town has finally fixed the stop sign at the bottom of Mountain Rd where it intersects with Maple St! It was one of at least five around town that had been run over and then temporarily mounted on construction barricades.

Noticed this while walking past the former Seymour space on Bank Row this morning 🤔

Never a good sign.

Prompted by Chair Touloumtzis, member Brown-Anson asks project presenter Caroline Armstrong to talk about the landscaping plan. Plan is to add additional shading and shrubbery but says she "can't speak too much to the biodiversity" but if there are any comments they can take those into account.
Question from Chair Touloumtzis about "the traffic stack," i.e., how cars will enter, flow through the drive-through, and exit.
The dark purple area in the center of the (admittedly crummy) screen grab of this map here, and the bright red lines are where the water mains are that would be in scope for this. Again, this is only for the planning and prep work, not the actual replacement work, which runs $1.1M-$1.8M per mile.
In case you're wondering, here is the impact of this TIF:
The colored-in areas represent the parking inventory in downtown Greenfield, both private and public. They say our parking regulations are "not overly complex, fairly straightforward." It's over 3000 parking spaces, they say "it's a lot" for a small town, about 80% of it is off-street. The majority of the parking is either private parking or otherwise restricted.
