das ist gar nicht so einfach. also, es ist schon leicht für mich, mich über "communities" lustig zu machen oder zu beschweren. aber das ist volle kanne scheinheilig, weil ich im musikalischen kontext eigentlich auch nicht auf der selben plattform wie "highperformer mit 20 millionen klicks" sein möchte, die immer wieder im akkord die selbe scheiße mit frischem lack raushauen und die zuhörerschaft bekommt, was sie erwartet und gelernt hat, gut zu finden.
ich würde also in wirklichkeit auch gern diese kommerzescheisse ausschließen und mich ein stück weit dadurch identitfieren, nicht "wie die" zu sein.

@lislegaard @audiodude i think one has to play along the rules of late stage capitalism to become big.
the more humans follow along the rules, the more they feel "natural" or "unavoidable".
and this isn´t true.

@audiodude @lislegaard oh, and "mainstream" platforms are called so, because of their numbers and growth.
big numbers means a-need-for algorithms.
algos mean: always prefer things, people allready know.
algos mean: fuck underground, until it´s getting "i thing to make big money with"
algos mean: fuck snowflakes, crazy music, things only 5 people on earth could enjoy.
thing is, those 5 people would really love this music by heart. the creator could stop thinking "nobody likes what i do".
that counts a lot, if you ask me.
