@rticks @OneEyedAlien @georgetakei there’s no such thing as “restoring” a former Senator who resigned back to his previous seat. If he wants it back he needs to run again just as any other candidate would. If he does so and wins then so be it.

@scalzi one of my favorite parts of the book was when the protagonist says something to the villain about “your friend Elon” and the villain is clearly offended by the implication he’d socialize with Elon Musk.
