They just don’t get it. Acts that are perfectly legal and normal become overt acts in furtherance of a criminal conspiracy when they’re part of the plan to commit a crime.
@georgetakei
Having a screw driver when caught burglarizing a propery is an added crime. Possession of burglar's tools.

@georgetakei

Also breathing. They were all breathing. 🤦‍♂️

#conspiracy #2simple4brains #coup

@georgetakei I’m undecided between believing they know better and are trying to trick their readers and believing they really are that dumb. 🤷‍♂️
@georgetakei
e.g.
Driving a car - fine
Driving a getaway car - not so much
@georgetakei Their entire identity is tied up with not getting it -- if you could force them to get it, they would kill themselves rather than face their own idiocy.
@mos_8502 @georgetakei the ignorance is an act as much as it's reality, it's to further a narrative and to get a response out of others

@georgetakei

Things that are now illegal in the USA:

- Wearing a ski mask (because it's cold outside),
- Holding a gun (owned by a friend),
- Not remembering your friend's name (Why did the police need to know anyway?),
- Walking into a bank (again, because it's cold),
- Holding an empty bag (I didn't want to litter),
- Being impatient (Okay, I raised my voice a bit and made some big arm gestures when I asked everybody to move out of my way),
- Saying that it would be nice if the bag was filled with money (It was a joke! Honest!).

I don't see anything wrong with any of those things, but now people are saying I'm some kind of criminal just because I happened to do them all at the same time! What is wrong with this country?

@georgetakei they do get it BUT since The Right is just a big pyramid scheme they all just lie to the people they think are dumber than they are. And it’s dumb all the way down.

@georgetakei

It's like you can't even walk into a bank, wearing a stocking mask, and carrying your emotional support firearm, exercising your right to free speech by saying, "Your money or your life!"

@georgetakei they get it just fine. They’re just assuming the people they’re fleecing are too dumb to get it.
@georgetakei To be fair, it takes a lot of first-year law students a while to come to grips with that point.  At least, it did in my Crim class. My prof's explanation, which I found helpful, is that there are LOTS of things that the prosecution has to prove, "elements of the offense" in Legalese, that are not in themselves criminal. For example, neither driving a car nor being drunk is any more illegal than anything on that list; the crime consists of doing both of those perfectly legal things at the same time.
@georgetakei Oh they Get IT..
The preference is expecting their supporters not to.
It helps the VICTIM mentality
@georgetakei This person hit the nail on the head.
@georgetakei Where’s the #Dunce hat emoji? 🤣
@georgetakei they get it, they’re just throwing thing against the wall hoping so,etching will stick
@georgetakei It's not that they don't get it, they did crimes on purpose, they have no issues bald faced lying about it now. Supporters are on the same bandwagon but are safe due to not doing actually helping do crimes. Well, except for voting for them. Oh! Isn't that aiding and abetting!?
@georgetakei Handy of them to add that blue symbol to highlight assholes.

@georgetakei SUSPECT: “Oh, so it’s a crime to give a friend a ride to the bank now?”

PROSECUTOR: “When you’re acting as a getaway driver, yea.”

@georgetakei

Willful ignorance is an ugly truth.

@georgetakei
Might be helpful if they looked up the meaning of the word "conspiracy" in the dictionary...

Although they already know what it means...

@georgetakei
*They* get it. They just know their *supporters* won't. 🤔
@georgetakei They get it. They’re pretending they don’t in order to stoke the outrage of people who want to feel aggrieved. It’s just more evidence of the contempt they feel for their own followers.
