@fraying I was going to write a jokey reply, but in all honesty, this phenomenon and this US election in general is indescribably upsetting if you're a non-American who cares about the planet, international stability, human civilisation and so on.
The idea that I sit here marinating in continuous dread while some jerks *who actually get to have a say in preventing this* simply cannot muster the energy to give half a damn is... maddening and depressing beyond words.
