36 months before La prise de la Bastille. Dictionnaire de l’académie françoise (L - Z), printed by Pierre Baume (at the time, one of the king’s printer. Bounded in veal leather.

Great find I made some years ago. Commemorative booklet, sheets and specimen book in a hard cover casing (1963) of the 500 years of the Imprimerie Nationale (formerly the Imprimerie Royale) of France. Mostly composed with steel and copper characters casted from the original Imprimerie’s historical typefaces.
