@aurynn the problem is that for many site owners ads are the only source of revenue. I own and run an AVOD (advertising video on demand) site in the UK without ads it would just be a money pit for us. Content needs to be paid for somehow. If it’s not subscription (SVOD, think Netflix), transactional (TVOD, think Prime paying for a movie) then it has to be ads. We are careful how many we run and we only get aroun £14 per thousand views!
