I was cool, but then Russia invaded the country of my ❤️ (Ukraine). Expert in economics & history & international relations
With the Dnipro drying up, the Russians will soon have another 280 km of additional frontlines (see map of 1943). Within a month since May 23, the active frontline will roughly double (from 500 km to 1000km)...
Because of this panic, Russians did not bother to prepare their troops and positions downstream for the flooding.
Why the Russians did not have the capacity to respond to a possible Ukrainian crossing?
Because part of their grouping in Kherson was transferred to Zaporizhzhia, because part of Zaporizhzhia grouping went to Bakhmut, because the Bakhmut grouping had to be stretched to cover Bilhorod (from May 23). Bilhorod added about 240 km of frontlines to an overly stretched army.
On June 5, Russian sources complained about the strong Ukrainian activity in Oleshky (right in front of Kherson) whether with arty or small squads on speedboats. Russian tried local counterattacks but to no avail.
I believe the Russian panicked about a possible crossing and blew the dam, which was upstream from Oleshky.
Russians increasingly worried about the positions Ukrainians set up on the Dnipro left bank (east). Those positions were firmly established in April with preparatory work in March with a strong and constant high correlation between Russian artillery and special equipment losses. IMO, this correlation indicates possibly new capabilities available to Ukraine, but most importantly, the ground work Ukraine has done to weaken in depth Russian defensive capabilities.

Frontlines wide UPD‼️

This is a recap of the 10 last days based on my feed.

Early morning of June 6, Russian decided to blow up the Nova Kakhovka dam to flood Ukrainian positions downstream.
In fact, starting from June 5, Ukrainians have initiated serious probing attacks on the Southern frontlines. In the evening,

Wagner promises Palestinian mercenaries $350 a month and help for their families...

Mercenaries on the cheap for a sure death

Reportedly, Wagner recruits Palestinian militants in Lebanon to fight in Ukraine

About 300 such mercenaries have already undergone rapid training in Russia and were sent to the front lines. Another group of approximately 100 Palestinian fighters is preparing to go to Russia...

The Z ad reads, "Work, brothers!" and was removed from the cemetery entrance in Voronezh - because it angered the residents: "Some considered this a mockery of the dead."

I am looking forward to the next mass mobilization wave in Russia...

‼️Maybe the last Russian offensive of 2023?

Russia is gathering troops between 12 and 16K to strike towards Orikhiv. The number of troops represents about half of the Russian grouping in Zaporozhye. If that fails, one wonder who is left to face the Leopards...
