The Consortium brings together regional #scientists, #regulators, and #community coalitions in the PNW to compile data on #plastics occurrence, transport through the #environment, breakdown, and consequential effects on #aquatic species in effort to support risk decision-makers. The Consortium exists to aid the public as a mechanism to get educated using direct research about the hazards of plastic at the micro and nano level.
