Doing a mass update of my IT devices. iPad, MacBook, AppleTV and Linux laptop. Phone is about to be started. Luckily the Kobo doesn’t need an update currently. 🤭

Strong winds outside this evening, almost perfect weather to stay indoors and read, which I'll be doing shortly. Just been watching "Micky 17", the film wasn't what I expected going in, in a good way. Not a classic, but better and more enjoyable than expected.
Messing around with Linux
Yesterday evening and this-morning I was "Messing about with Linux" on some old computers I had gathering dust (All IT people have at lest one or two laying about). Going back to the late 90s and through to the early 2010s I'd used Linux as my main operating system on numerous cheap laptops. I'd normally had them in Dual boot alongside Windows due to a need to have some proprietary software I couldn't survive without.
Not sure if it's just my experience, or my imagination, but are most organisations on here just Bot's pulling data from other social media sources?
Car Service & MOT
It's been that time of year again when my car needed it's annual Service and MOT. This year as my car is now out of warranty I booked it into a trusted garage near home rather than the car dealership. I'd not been impressed with the dealerships service since I bought the car but wanted to keep up their servicing while in warranty.
Terrible nights sleep, have somehow pulled a muscle in my right shoulder and every time I rolled over I woke up in pain. Now my body clock won’t let me sleep in, even though I have the day off! 🙀
