Messing around with Linux

Yesterday evening and this-morning I was "Messing about with Linux" on some old computers I had gathering dust (All IT people have at lest one or two laying about). Going back to the late 90s and through to the early 2010s I'd used Linux as my main operating system on numerous cheap laptops. I'd normally had them in Dual boot alongside Windows due to a need to have some proprietary software I couldn't survive without.
