Dutch wind farm will stop turbines when smart cameras detect eagles, starting mid-2024

Wind farms are critised due to harm to birds. This, could help.

Cameras will detect a flying object 1km away. At 300m it can identify it as an eagle and stop.

Why only eagles? Because they fly looking downwards and don't notice turbines.

Zeewolde wind farm has 83 giant turbines.
