You think youā€™ve moved through things and maybe the tunnel is about to open up into a clearing from which you can finally gaze up see some sky. But šŸ’„ bam out of nowhere land mines of grief you havenā€™t cleared get triggered and the tunnel walls cave around you and youā€™ve got to dig through some shit all over again.

@mplouffe thanks so much for the suggestion. I tried that out today and had a talk with a stuffed animal and found it really did help get me to articulate thoughts and feelings long enough to sit with them. I will try it again as needed. Thank you!

@mplouffe Sitting and reflecting on (or in) grief is challenging, but it seems everyone says running from it will make it worse. Iā€™m so stubborn and resist it I think. Thank you for sharing.

Iā€™m feeling pretty broken today. How do people deal with strong intense feelings of grief? Practice has not made perfect. Iā€™m still very bad at it.

Random thoughts on my walk this morning:

It is not kind to move a husky to an equatorial city. Poor dog.

I am conflicted about #Ashes ending soonā€”but it would be nice to be productive and sleep at regular hours more regularly again.

Why is the minority of those who donā€™t enjoy #ChristopherNolan movies so small?? Are there more of you hiding out there? And is professional philosophy why I find most of his movies so tiresome? Or was that supposed to actually make me like them more?
