I want to be clear: I’m not on @Mastodon because I’m trying to make a point, or because I hate Elon Musk, or because I want to do a new thing. I’m on Mastodon because I think the underlying technology is superior and the model of social networking that it enables is more democratic, more sustainable, and more enjoyable. And, get this, it actually *enables* real free speech better than Musk’s vision for Twitter. I’m not here to do anyone a favor. I prefer this platform.

Work aside, the new Devin Townsend album #Lightwork came out two days ago, so I've been listening to that a lot.
