It’s only 3 more days until the english localisation of #JackJeanne - the highly anticipated #otomegame made by Sui Ishida (the artist behind #tokyoghoul).

Which character are you excited about most?
What other rhythm games or otome games are you currently playing?

Localisation releases June 15th!

@losttourist oh this might be a bit community specific then. Our members are pretty interactive in modmail whenever posts get removed or they have questions about certain tools/guidelines. So I’m quite used to a very active modmail. But it certainly increased a lot for us too those last hours. I guess it’s a good thing though we see how the protest is making an impact. :)
@losttourist I would say that’s nothing compared to the mod load we would get if all the third party tools are suddenly gone. For us, the automod does filter out a good portion of spam/rule violating content. With this filter gone …
@nm thanks for the warm welcome! It’s great to know there is an active vegan community on here too! I haven’t quite figured how the platform works yet, but my first impression is very positive! It’s a bit of a bummer what’s happening with Reddit and I’m curious to see it unfold the next days. But I’m very glad there is alternatives that are still community driven.

Hello everyone! I finally decided to join mastodon after my dissatisfaction with Reddit (especially frustration stemming from being a huge subreddit mod; goodbye essential moderation tools!)

I’m hoping to engage with the community sharing my interests like

#otomegames #cosplay #anime #manga #diy #vegan #books #gaming … and a lot more! I’m thrilled to be here.

@blisscast I’m a simple woman. I see Gilbert, I like. That’s an incredible collection!
@riikka otome titles are
unforgiving with wrong choices.
#Birushana is a beautiful game though! It has something implemented that’s called the “love catch system”. Whenever making choices you see flowers bloom that represent either affection from a certain LI (Love Interest) or a stat (wisdom, strength …) To land on a certain route you need affection and fitting stats. Failing to raise stats might lead to side effects like… death.
@film_girl @christianselig it’s sad really. They seem to be closing in on any kind of third party tool made by passionate devs who put blood sweat and tears into making the platform more comfortable to use. As a subreddit mod I can’t even empathise on how important those tools are to us. There will be a blackout protest against Reddit’s new policy; I just hope that enough subs participate to actually make them listen. (But I doubt it.)
