@carnage4life Amazon became profitable by user lock-in strategies and diversification (AWS, advertisements). Models are not improving, that does not fare well for growth and does not support user retention. I also don’t believe everythingsaid by tech bros. That’s the same guy who said 90% of all code would be written by AI by now.

@GossiTheDog nothing the employer can do. But this scenario has always existed with BYOD, it’s just that Recall is an easy replacement of some screen recording tool with OCR capabilities. Even with MDM I imagine someone using a camera and recording everything happening on the “protected” phone and having AI transcribe it.
