When the reunion comes, it’s simple but just as drawn out as Thrawn’s intro. Sabine simply gets a good long look at the life of this band of creatures surviving independently of the Night Sisters and Empire, and then the camera pans to a Ezra in the background, letting Sabine find him for herself.
Thrawn’s appearance is drawn out, so we can get a good look at his ship, his troops, the sorry state of their personalized armor- would Thrawn really have allowed that? Maybe, because their exile with him has increased their devotion. We are introduced to a Howler, which carries Sabine, then runs from robbers, then gets back into her good graces, then finds some friends called Notis. And the Notis can lead her to Ezra.
