After three years away, I’m relearning skateboarding. It’s part of how I’m working through anxiety and taking care of my mental health.

Skateboarding got me into the video editing world and has been my main focus as of recent.

Day 3:
I shared a personal story about being frozen by anxiety. Mornings can be the hardest and just getting out of bed can feel impossible. I found focusing on one thing I needed to do that day made it feel much more manageable. watch the full video on my instagram @oliver_lanyon

Day two felt amazing. my body was starting to remember what skateboarding was like. Not just Skateboarding But filming and editing has done wonders to keep me focused and my anxiety levels down.

my question is. what helps you with anxiety?

Its been 3 years since I've street skated. Life got in the way and now I cant even remember why I stopped. Tomorrow I'm filming my first video back where I will start with the basics of skating and will eventually work my way back to where I used to be.
