Hackers were sued after making public how train manufacturer #newag manipulated their trains to prevent third-party repairs.
Legal fees are around 30,000€ by now.
The CCC is now calling for donations to cover the legal and other resulting costs incurred so far.

AI company Xiao-I, which maintains the Hua Zang LLM and a variety of other tools mostly intended for healthcare industry use, has released their Hearview line of augmented reality glasses. They're about $2000 and provide live audio captions projected into the wearer's field of vision (and phone transcripts).
