@neonbubble it's rigged the same way that any first-past-the-post election is rigged. Every israel supporter will vote for israel, while anyone against israel will either vote for a more even field of 25 options or boicott the whole thing. Adding that the israel supporters have a bigger incentive to vote out of political interest, it's probably common for many of them to do the maximum 20 votes.
The system is rigged, and it's by design.
@rauschma I had to run through the process of creating an account 3 times due to being banned randomly, without warning and without getting an answer on my appeal on 2 different highly recommended instances - before making a single post or writing anything. My best guess is that my username was mistaken as a bot account, but not responding to appeals is frustrating.
So while it wasn't complicated, I have lost some faith in decentralized instances run on goodwill.
@yurnidiot I'd love it, but there is a problem which is evident in Norway: billionaires emigrate to countries with more favorable tax laws. Those countries are very happy to welcome wealthy billionaires, as they can extract a decent amount of tax money, even if they don't have nearly as high tax requirement as Norway.
So thia law would effectively deport a lot of billionaires, ensuring that they won't leave any money at all for the state.
