@slashdot ironically one version of Simcity had riots built in.

I can remember a Maxis dev saying that LA authorities asked him how to reduce rioting after the Rodney King riots.

"build more parks" was the response.

I have some insider knowledge here that I wanted to share.

This is not happening because Google scrapes Twitter and is now unable to. Google has been a paying customer (with a special negotiated rate) of the Firehose API for nearly a decade. Presumably, that deal was still in effect, barring API rate changes having an impact.

So this decision is solely because the results can no longer be viewed by non-logged-in users.

Ukrainian forces widened their control at Lobkove/P'yatykhatky and reached the outskirts of Robotyne.

Furthermore, Russians have deployed their reserves to stop the Ukrainian advance while Ukrainians still haven't deployed their main force.

It's worth just mentioning that the price for electricity in the UK today is going to hit an all time low of -20p/kwh (well 19.something).

So octopus energy will pay people on the agile tarrif to use electricity.

It's due to the number of wind turbines going up, being a summer month so demand is less and it being a windy day.

The real significance is that it's a price signal to grid storage companies.
With an increase in frequency of these events, the viability of grid storage increases.

Twatter status report: still stuffed.
