I really need to find some RPG players on mastodon. I don't have anything useful for @BryanLunduke beyond the occasional question, and beyond basic switch, router, and BIND configs I'm pretty much worthless to the 'nix community.
So @BryanLunduke had a point about too much computer in vehicles, but it also bugs me that engine control computers needed for efficient EFI and transmission control are closed... msd sells configurable ones for tuners, but still proprietary and closed ... I wonder if there are enough car nuts that are also computer nerds to open source that stuff
