“The ‘investors’ are only interested in their own profit,” he tells me. “How many times do they say, ‘Yeah, it’s a great idea, a needed product even, but I can’t extract enough profit out of it, so it’s not investable.’” In other words, capitalism creates a system where great products or worthy entrepreneurs don’t get the chance to be successful if they can’t make Mark Cuban richer.“

The Communists Who Love Watching 'Shark Tank'

The reality show is a love letter to capitalism. But to leftists, it’s a juicy portrayal of capitalism’s (and America’s) most shameful failures

@Tilopa Yawn. Again, Antifa is NOT an organization. But don’t let me disabuse you of your fallacies. And who cares what Brannon and Jones say or do. They will use anything and everything and lie if they can’t find something factual (as Jones has made so abundantly clear for years). And, as to property destruction. https://youtu.be/qhnlj2F6RLk

Which Way After Apartheid?

A historic conference has redefined the Palestinian struggle for rights, although its conclusions have yet to make it on the U.S. radar.

“This slowly emerging paradigm turns our origin story on its head—again. It implies that early H. sapiens did not, as many assumed, originate as a single, relatively large population that exchanged genes and technologies in a more or less random fashion and gradually expanded across and outside of Africa.”

Did Humanity Really Arise in One Place?

Evidence from fossils, objects, and DNA is prompting researchers to rethink Homo sapiens’ origin story—and what it means to be human.
