@w7voa He did say that it was because his private jet was being tracked and published and he was concerned for his children’s safety. In this one instance, I think he was right.

@Richard_Littler as the artist painted in the Victorian era, a time when the interest in spiritualism etc was at its peak, this is an interesting, but not shocking find.

When they did an x-ray of Henry Gillard Glindoni's painting of Elizabethan occultist/alchemist John Dee, they discovered that Dee was standing in a circle of human skulls...

@dem_cath there is another wind farm coming for the Irish Sea, smack bang in the shipping lanes for Heysham harbour. It will add hours to all journeys and the corresponding extra fuel consumption. Oh, but profits galore for the company. Nobody in SE has their view spoiled.
