I recently accepted a new position (in addition to teaching virtually) and the social scientist in me wants to do a case study about working from home and entering new communities of practice.
From personal experience, itās not always my immediate colleagues I ask for help. Itās also a burden on those colleagues to expect to learn about an entire organization just from them. Last, I would consider how e-correspondence implicates how we ask for help (and whom).
