The situation in Avdiivka, given Ukraine's withrawal, as of 17/02. The city center, eastern and southern parts are now considered Russian occupied, although Russia might not have presence there yet, it very soon will. Avdiivka's Coke Plant and the 9th Quarter district are considered a gray zone.
This night, another oil depot in the Kursk region was attacked. The Russian ministry of defense claimed it had shot down 33 drones over several regions such as Kursk, Voronezh and Bilhorod.
Zelenskyi is now speaking at the Munich Security Conference in Germany.

"Ukraine can definitely win this war, but our actions are limited by range and sufficient weapons. The situation in Avdiivka confirms, unfortunately, Ukraine has a shortage of weapons. Particularly in artillery and long-range capabilities which allows Putin to adept and intensify hostilities. The weakening of democracy undermines our joint ability," Zelenskyi said.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba is currently meeting with US State Secretary Blinken and his delegation. Subjects of discussion are ammunition, air defense systems and long-range capabilities. Kuleba once again expressed gratitude for everything the US has done for Ukraine.
"Russia would have achieved much more without the help of the US," he noted.
"In regards to the US aid package: I don't want to push a message to the US, but I will have detailed talks with US Senators today. They have to know what is happening. We will have to work together and make this happen. If we are alone, Russia will destroy Poland, the Baltics, and they will do it," Zelenskyi said.
He furthermore thanked Nancy Pelosi: "Together we did a lot, thank you Nancy," Zelenskyi added.
