Heart attack simulator living in SC for a while. You get used to it eventually though and no she does not grow out of this. Long into adulthood sometimes somebody just pauses, raises a hand, and Fully Grown Ruri Ginjo plops neatly into their palm and joins the conversation like "You were saying?"
Actually this being SC's (Aside from Ryuu's) first go of her REALLY doing this. Watching her lean forward and bend her knees thinking she's trying to see Jyuu better and then going collectively silent with horror when she just. Jumps Off. Ryuuken in the background like "Oh not AGAIN" while Eddie sighs and everyone snaps their heads around like "AGAIN????" and yeah. They get home and all the originals nod like "Oh yeah she won't just run and jump on you she does THAT a lot. Keep an eye out-"

Rewatching Jyuu Sisley episode for the insanity but it only NOW occurs to me that. Ruri is. Wearing a bigass puff jacket and thick looking pants. IN THE MIDDLE OF A DESERT. And I KNOW the ship probably has AC, but it is also an infinitely hilarious thought that she got dressed PRELOADED to jump Jyuu from however many tens of feet she was in the air- It is ALSO infinitely hilarious to imagine the reactions of every nearby leaguer watching her just take a flying LEAP before anybody can grab her-

@Odybramm I BELIEVE there was some little purples facts somewhere that someone translated, and in those little blurbs it mentioned that Carl was a pretty soft hearted type iirc, or at least very emotional. SO I've always been of the mind of him being a worrywart sweetie, always taking on chores for the others, crying over baby animal videos, spooking easily, being very doe eyed in general. Just a little guy! BUT THAT'S HOW I WRITE HIM SO TAKE THOSE THOUGHTS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT
One more for the Silky knot thoughts: Everybody teasing him and not letting him knot them while he begs to please put it in. Keeping him like that till they get bored, but this is so entertaining.... ANYWAY.
Like imagining the whiplash he would get having an Owner so ridiculously young who loves them like that, and even having a coach who cares so much. Imagining him internally Not knowing what to do or how to react with it, acting a bit awkward at first before he actually gets Attached. And there's the interesting idea of if Ruri heard of Magnum before, has Magnum heard of Ruri? Daughter of the man who remade him... both having some previous knowledge of the other, however minor...THEY'RE NEAT
Ruri and Magnum...I can imagine them having such a funny relationship actually. Because like, Frontier was from Dark. It seems like not a lot of guys there are very close with their humans, or even humans in general. And he may like Ricardo, but Ricardo is a strange strange little man. A lot of leaguers seem disconnected from humans in general! So he comes to SC expecting more of the same, only to get plopped with a teenage owner who jumps on her leaguers like they're not several metal tons
