It's 2023, and there's a US election in 2024 that will determine the future of climate change, war in Ukraine, the global economy, reproductive rights, and global fascism.

And folks still want to talk about Cambridge Analytica in 2015, instead of stuff like this:

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/democrats-scramble-reach-voters-florida-cancels-mail-ballot-requests-rcna91294

The reason you can't make any progress on:
* Climate change
* Reproductive rights
* Trans rights

Is because too many Black folk are denied the right to vote. Focus on that instead of your pet issue.

Democrats scramble to reach voters after Florida cancels mail-in ballot requests

Florida Democrats are organizing to chase down people who vote by mail after election officials in the state cancelled all standing mail ballot requests.

Are you finding Mastodon to be less vibrant/active?

I’m worried that we are not getting as much engagement on our Ukraine war reporting as we used to.

We’re trying to decide which social media platforms to continue posting on, given how much effort it takes to replicate across all of them.

If you want to send a signal to us that we should keep posting here, will you sign up for our newsletter? http://Counteroffensive.substack.com

I’m only asking Mastodon users today so we can gauge impact.

on a personal level, i’m 9 months pregnant and scheduled for a c-section in less than a week, which puts me in a tough spot as i know i’m gonna have to take “leave” time.

any leads and connections are super appreciated: i’ll be looking for #malwareanalysis, #threatresearch and #threatintel remote roles based in the US.

@davidtoddmccarty Are you on pixelfed.de now or is that someone pretending to be you?
Last week, RFK Jr. endured some hilariously bad press about an NYC press event at which two of his supporters argued over climate change, one with lots of farts. However, the fart jokes soon gave way to darker side of the fundraise, a Q&A in which RFK Jr. shared an antisemitic conspiracy theory claiming that COVID-19 might have been “targeted” against Caucasians and Blacks, while sparing Jews and the Chinese. Why is anyone surprised? https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/rfk-jr-a-fart-filled-argument-gives-way-to-an-antisemitic-conspiracy-theory-that-covid-19-is-an-ethnically-targeted-bioweapon/

Who knew "The “Harvard six Cities Study”, published in 1996, revealed that PM2.5 was one of the causative factors of human non-accidental death. In this study, PM2.5 was positively related to daily morality of humans, particularly the elderly (RR =1.5%, 95% CI: 1.1–1.9%) (2). " 😂
