Apropros of posting things about sea ice field work...

...pretty much all work about snow on sea ice, which has huge impacts on radar altimetry-based estimates of ice volume is done in summertime, on level ice.

Might want to let that bake into your noodle if you have funding to do the work. Or better yet, fund me to do it!

I can come up with all the great reasons winter-adjacent expeditions are necessary. They're how I cut my polar field teeth...

My current contract is almost over so I'm looking for a paid remote gig/job (GMT+1) as Unity or Godot dev.
