Oh, You didn’t had the Pale Nails? I think I forgot to mention that by the time I went to defeat Khann, I had already found or bought almost all the tools and upgrades. I’m terrible at gaming, and usually, what I can’t achieve through skill, I make up for by finding upgrades to make things easier for myself.
You didn’t have Ascendant’s Grip? I’m surprised you didn’t lose your mind during the Mr. Mushroom mission. I almost did, and I already had Ascendant’s Grip at that point.
Reaper’s Crest is one of my favorite crests. it’s so versatile, and I think I also defeated the Pintress with it.
Anyway, I’m glad you managed to defeat Khann. Is that the last heart you needed, or do you have more left?
“Between dealing with minority oppression, general uncertainty, and the rush to replace artists and those who pursued knowledge with machines, it feels like there is no future for me or my craft.”
Jesus…
(meme badly edited so to not misgender)
I’d recommend ditching the Longclaw (it doesn’t make that much of a difference anyway) and focusing on staying alive. I seem to recall using the Plasmid, the injector Band, the memory cristal and the Fractured Mask at some point to proceed (it’s been months since I did that fight, sorry my fuzzy memory).
My logic was: you have to stay alive and keep your health maxed out for as long as possible, use silk only to cure and beat the enemies either quickly or without getting too much damage.
This is the only time you’ll face something like this, so don’t worry (more, that is)
About the actual boss fightOn the other hand, Khann himself is really easy. I don’t know if that’s good or bad for you, but for me—having tried to beat the gauntlets like 30 times—being able to defeat him on the first try felt like a gift
Have you tried using other crests? In my experience, certain crests make some fights ridiculously easy, while others can make them nearly impossible. The Wanderer’s Crest worked for me with this task, it let me take out enemies quickly and avoid getting overwhelmed.
