Mixing a recording of David Degge playing the last movement of “Precious and Intelligent Metal,” an oblique set of pieces by Quinn Collins based on Richard Brautigan’s book “Trout Fishing in America.” (Which I read, like, over thirty years ago…).

The full piece with percussion quartet and microtonal synthesizers is coming out on Belts & Whistles on January 23, 2026.
