I was really excited about finishing this piece today and loading it up as my first art piece of 2023. I was in the zone and could feel the end on site. When my kiddo woke up and it was time to get her dressed, I had a sudden panic about the time. She has dance on Friday mornings and in my creative jam, i completely forgot. With that, all the joy left me about it and I feel selfish for even working. It’s hard to find a good work life balance with little ones at home. But tomorrow is another day.
