Last night above @MtDavidson_SF in San Francisco American Airlines flight 1711 to Dallas-Fort Worth checks on the future site of recurrent nova T Coronae Borealis (circled), expected anytime between now and September. 45-second exposure, which is what makes the plane's path look like a light-show. An unusually interesting day-sky in San Francisco today. Usually this time of year clouds would be an impenetrable gray murk of marine layer and fog, but today the clouds were singing and dancing up there.
