Let me get this straight, Apple. You see someone walking a dog and want to know the breed. Do you: A) Stop the person, pull out your phone, and use Apple Intelligence to guess the breed or B) Be less of a weirdo and ask the person what breed their dog is?
Trick question. The answer is C) Ask to pet the dog and pet the damn dog!
One piece of slang that has long embodied the short attention span Internet age is TL;DR, short for “too long; didn’t read.” With the explosion of generative AI tools, we’re rapidly entering the age of TL;DW: “too long, didn’t write.” A January survey from Fishbowl found that 40% of nearly 12,000 workers have used ChatGPT
I got served an ad for a "behind sofa mini-table for chargers" and oh my god what a perfect thing for my couch that is next to a wall where we can't charge anything and we accidentally drop things constantly.
I search for tips to make my own and it's a few 2x4s and screws and stain, can be built in an hour. I bought some round USB charge ports and wireless charge pads at Amazon that even include a hole saw. This looks like a great project and it will fit perfectly in the space when I'm done.
I don't play RPGs enough to get entirely personally wrapped up in this, but I know a whole lot of people who do, and it's been stunning to see just how quickly Wizards of the Coast blew off their own feet here. No one trusts them to do the right thing, nor should they. This is a classic "we're sorry we got caught" situation, and everyone one in that space knows it.
