Prof Foluke AdebisiFor me, land acknowledgements are not just about recognising the original 'title' to the land, but also its original ontology and teleology [What the land was and what it was used for]. So that land back is not just transfer back to indigenous peoples, but a return of land back to what it was in relation to the preservation of life.
