Fricking Adobe. My doppelganger (the guy who thinks my Gmail address is his) signed up for their cloud service for which they don't seem to verify account email. Who does that now a days? They took his credit card information. You'd think they'd want to verify the only contact information they have is correct.

Then when I went to cancel the service attached to my email I had to wait over two minutes for this, the first of two dark pattern confirmation screens I had to click through. Guess which button you have to click to close your plan. Hint: it's not CLOSE.

I knew teen pregnancies were declining in the USA. Didn't realize that:

A) the rate was over 100/1000 at times in some states in the late 80s

B) the rate has declined by as much as an order of magnitude

C) CA used to have the highest rate (98/1000 in '88; 13/1000 in 2017).

D) North Dakota had the lowest rate in late 80s (24/1000 in '88; 13/1000 in 2016).

Pregnancies, Births and Abortions in the United States, 1973–2017: National and State Trends by Age

The Guttmacher Institute calculates comprehensive historical statistics on the incidence of pregnancy, birth and abortion for people of reproductive age in the United States (see Definitions). Our most recent release includes national statistics covering the period from 1973 to 2017, the most recent year for which comparable data are available; state-level statistics are available for selected years from 1988 to 2017 (see Note).
