I think filming my agateware while throwing makes me look like a real bad potter. Because I use 2 clays that tend to be slightly different hardnesses, the pieces all love getting off center every move, on top of creating more thin and thick spots. Nevertheless, I'm pretty happy with how these oil bottles are turning out. The one I was throwing in this vid will be more pink than red, but I realized I don't have any pics of that color unfortunately.

A brief video showing the difference in appearance after the thin layer of slip from throwing is trimmed away. While throwing, these pieces look neat, but trimming always brightens them up and really brings out the marbling effect.

I've been working in something a little different lately, making a sheathe for some knives I made about a year and change ago. I really like how the first one came out, and have already begun on one for my sword. Unfortunately I don't have punches I like for a pattern on the whole sword sheathe, so I'll have to wait a bit to finish that.

Some agateware coasters I've made recently. These came out and fit the coaster perfectly, and shockingly, I didn't even measure them. I actually got them after they were already fired, but were almost exactly the right size.
