Yet, the whole idea that we psychologically give authority a magazine/company to coronate anyone is asinine and allows us too easily to be manipulated (Putin was picked by Time as person of the year in 2007. Past 'winners' of this title include Hitler, Stalin, Nixon, and Musk). A person of influence may indeed be evil — and awarding them only helps them perpetrate evil.
