Meet Morton and Muffin. Vintage, hand made teddy bears rescued from a thrift shop where, as I passed by, they each whispered "Are you my forever home?" to which I replied "Of course, you are safe now." I love rescuing teddy bears.
I don't have provenance on Morten ( made by Jane Humme) but Muffin was made by Bear Bits in 1995, is made from sparse, pale honey mohair from Steiff. When he/she was sold is was ‘in the fur’ - no pretty little vest or bow!
