 I'm also an adventurer, photographer, big into video games and repairing/modding old consoles, hiking, and whatever else I can get my wings on. Married to the wonderful @kenna_puppers. Professionally I build stuff that goes into space.

@pepper It's extremely unfun and unconducive for any real chatting, especially when one can't be sure how much delay they've got.
While I had pulled a very solid 0.0038 on my phone screen with that challenge going around, I really wanted to see if I could do better with my calibrated screen on my main PC.
Turns out my main screen is better!

Find your Just Noticeable Difference in colour perception. How small a colour difference can you actually see?

I've realized that my problem with voice calls on computers really does come down to how large the group call is.

Group size of two or three? Great! Will chirp and squeak.
Four? Limited chirping but still engaged.
Five? I'm staying muted unless I'm directly asked a question.
Six or more? Non-zero chance that I've muted the audio and considering dropping out of the call.

@Ianmcgecko
Right? I'm sure that was intentional on their part.

There's quite a few multi-toolhead solutions for 3D printers that include blades. It's basically the same as a plotter, just a different bed style.
Got an email that my nullo surgery consultation is scheduled! Way sooner than I expected too - next week on my birthday! *Happy chirps!*

This is a super common system for HVAC anywhere that one can reliably evaporate water. It's known as a swamp cooler for residential, and is far more energy efficient than other methods which makes for a lower carbon footprint. That's good!

The tradeoff is that you end up using water to remove heat. And it can be a lot of water if there's a lot of heat generated, which is bad.

Having grown up in the deepest depths of Christianity - they're told that they're extremely persecuted and have cherry-picked stories where something bad happens to Christians in other countries. Just don't ask what lead up to the bad things.
And since they're discouraged from getting an outside perspective because Satan will snatch them up, they don't get to know what reality is.
