Here's an idea: Not defending libgen, but if publishers wouldn't massively overcharge and tuition fees would be reasonable, more students would actually buy the books.

Also: I provide as much information as possible free of charge to my students. They can choose whether they print out the syllabus, but they get the PDF for free.
