When Ariel and I were kids, there was a bookstore here in Portland called A Children's Place that had a bathtub filled with pillows. We both have memories of sitting in the tub and reading books as children. I also remember going to pick up the latest Redwall book and listening to Brian Jacques read aloud. The bathtub is gone, but the store has been raising readers and hosting authors for over fifty years.
