Ads asking "how many games did you work on from start to finish".
Only game I worked on from the start has 1 person left who can claim the title cause we started prototyping with 5 people.
You can easily spend 10 years in the same company without ever qualifying for this metric.

AI is so agreeable if you ask how can a language do multithreading efficiently without const qualifiers it'll tell you "it's fine you can just use mutexes and rely on runtime data race detection" 🤣
Looks like C++26 adoption is gonna be slow one for many.

I don't care which engine you're using, booting up the game after install shouldn't greet you with "compiling shaders 12/9001".
Then tell you to update your graphic driver.
Then compile _again_.
